South Dakota State Fire School is an excellent Firefighter training opportunity for new recruits as well as more advanced training for the experienced Firefighter. It's also a great time to network with peers, make new friends, visit with old friends and in general help you provide a better level of service to your community.

As we are using a completely new Association Management Software System you may not yet have a login setup. If you have already setup a login via our new website, use those credentials and LOGIN to ensure member benefits and discounts are applied (setting up a login via the website is the best way to ensure you get accurate member discounts, but your e-mail needs to be in our system to setup a login). You can fill out the this form (click here for the form) to submit your email, this may take a day or two for us to update the system, if not...follow the instructions below.
If not using a login, Enter your email address in the box below and hit Find Me to see if we have a record of you in our database (if you have used multiple e-mail addresses in the past you may try those as well). If not found follow the instructions and enter all required information. We did our best to import all e-mail addresses we had, but due to some spelling of names, abbreviations, and nicknames, etc... not all of them came through. If the system does not recognize you and will not apply the 100% Department Member discount; send an email to Rick Gustad @ SCDir@sdfirefighters.org with your name, email, and department and we'll get you setup. Depending on Rick's workload and schedule at the time it may take a day or two to get back to you.
It is VERY important to use individual email addresses for everyone you register, this verifies membership status with the SDFA so appropriate discounts levels are applied. It also enables every individual with your Department/Agency future access to our NEW Members INFO HUB resource and allows us to communicate any last minute changes to event schedules, class offerings/cancellations, changed PPE requirements etc... More on that new feature to come soon!
